Brilliant Nigerian Lady excels abroad, bags Masters degree in Law with distinctions
A brilliant Nigerian Lady named Abimbola Okunmadewa has bagged a Master’s Degree in Law from the University College London, the United Kingdom with Distinction.
Abimbola graduated with an outstanding second-class upper Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Ibadan, South-West, Nigeria. She then proceeded to enrol at the Nigerian Law School which confers her with the authorities to appear as a solicitor to Nigeria’s Supreme Court.
Abimbola also graduated from the Nigerian Law School with an outstanding First-class degree. Following her graduation, she proceeded to the University College London, London, UK where she bagged her Master’s Degree in Corporate Law with Distinctions.
Celebrating her feat, Abimbola took to her Linkedin handle to give thanks to God for his favours on her. She expressed that ever since she finished Law school, she knew her academic journey has not ended.
She also noted that her Research Essay titled: ‘Comparative Analysis of Disclosure of Persons with Significant Control in Corporate Nigeria vis-à-vis UK and European laws’ was also graded as Distinction.
“Unlike when I finished my programme at Nigerian law school, I know this is not the end of my legal journey or my academic pursuits and professional exams. I am optimistic that wherever I go from here, I can literally do anything,” she said on Linkedin.
