Brilliant Nigerian Lady wins UK Chevening Scholarship, sets to study at London School of Economics

A brilliant Nigerian Lady named Victory Osaretin Osarumwense has won the prestigious Chevening Scholarship of the United Kingdom, joining the 2% winners among the over 58,000 applicants around the world.

Victory Osaretin Osarumwense expressed her excitement on her LinkedIn profile saying that she is humbled to be among the winners. The UK Chevening Scholarship awards a Fully Funded Scholarship and monthly stipens to students around the world.

Victory Osaretin Osarumwense revealed that she has been accepted to The London School of Economics in London, UK to earn a Master’s degree in Development Management with a specialization in Applied Development Economics.

She had in 2016 graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, West Africa with a First Class Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting.

Commenting on how she won the highly competitive Chevening Scholarship Award, Victory Osaretin Osarumwense stated that her win was made possible by God and His gift of kind people (family, friends and strangers) who helped make her dream a reality.

She thanked everyone who assisted her during her application. “See what the Lord has done, what I waited for has finally come to pass. I am therefore confident that God will perfect what he Has started in this new chapter of my life,” she said.
