When Businesses Go Woke and Demonic

Proverbs 5:15 says “Drink waters from your own cistern and fresh water from your own well.” This speaks first to husbands; be blessed and rejoice in your wife, filled up with her love. And in the larger sense, be satisfied with the blessings God’s given you. Rejoice, give thanks, receive and be filled with them. But there’s something even more. The Hebrew word for “fresh” water here is “nazal” which can also mean “melting” water. In other words, your well, your marriage, your relationship might be frozen. There are potential waters of blessing and love, but it’s iced up and cold. You might have to take time to warm it up with God’s love. And keep loving until it melts the ice of your spouse’s heart or whatever is needed. In other areas of your life, may be frozen because you’re not giving thanks or haven’t been paying attention to it. Warm up your frozen prayer life, your frozen ministry life, your frozen time in the Lord, your family time and it will flow. Drink waters from your own cistern, they may be frozen, so warm them up.

But that brings up the issue of something I don’t believe I’ve ever talked about money and business and capitalism.
Traditionally, the left has supported big government and government controls on business and and capitalism.
The right has traditionally supported big business and small government, few controls on business and capitalism.
There’s something to it, but it’s not necessarily always right. Or biblical.
In the Bible, the enemy is not government or business. The enemy is sin.
The fact that sin can come up in any camp.
You know, just like Israel, you know, there were there were there were he made alliances for a time with one power and another power, but they weren’t great powers, but they stood against the other, the worst power.
I would be very wary of big government, not because of government, but because of sin.
It’s a dangerous thing to give so much power to any organization because of the sin of man.
But there’s another side. It’s originally been that conservatives were for business unrestrained capitalism on it.
I don’t trust big government, and I don’t trust big business either.
Not because of business, but because of sin within a any camp. Our god is not government.
Our god is not business. Our god is not socialism. Our god is not capitalism, our god is god.
I don’t trust the worship of power. I don’t trust the worship of money.
Now for years, the the cause of business was generally conservative.
They would generally be conservative corporations because they would against big government.
Of course, they didn’t want a lot of control and and socialism.
Of course, the business realm was generally more favorable to conservatives. Than liberals or the other party.
A few years ago, though, there was a change.
There was a movement well, first of all, a few years ago, there was a movement called occupy Wall Street left wing movement against business, but a change took place in the business world, a corporate America that’s affected your life.
It began to lose its conservatism became increasingly leftward. Woke.
There are different reasons for it.
Some things it was a way to neutralize all the opposition to business from the left.
So they kind of appease the left.
And so they weren’t getting attacked so much by that or the or the Democratic party.
Another reason is that god was taken out of education, so more people out of colleges into the business realm who were increasingly liberal and left wing.
And number three, the culture is turning increasingly away from the mainstream culture is turning increasingly away from god.
If your god is money, then you’re simply gonna go with what makes you money.
The majority for a corporation to be anti Christian in tie overtly in times past would be self destruct.
They’d lose money in times past.
But in an anti Christian culture, you don’t have that risk as much and you gain money.
So it’s no accident you’re seeing corporation after corporation.
Store after, so business after business parading the rainbow flag, indoctrinating their employees against the ways of god, punishing those who stand for god and lobbying for laws that were against the ways of god.
So now we’ve got a scenario. We’ve got both government and business increasingly warring against the ways of god together.
That doesn’t bode well for believers at least in the natural, but it matches end time prophecy.
Immorality shall increase. But the cool thing is that that’s what Paul is dealing with right now in the book of acts.
