Young lady wins Mastercard scholarship, set to earn masters degree at UK university
A young African lady named Adrianna Q. has won the prestigious Mastercard Foundation to study for her master’s at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland in the United Kingdom.
Adrianna was awarded the prestigious fully-funded Mastercard Foundation Scholarship to further her postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana.
She took to LinkedIn to share her achievement of winning the Mastercard Foundation to study her master’s stating that she is excited to start her journey as a Master’s candidate at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Adrianna will be studying a master of science degree in Food Security at the university. ” I’m excited to start my journey as a Master’s candidate in Food Security at The University of Edinburgh, having been awarded a full ride by the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme,” she said.
She mentioned that she was awarded a fully funded scholarship by the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme at the University of Edinburgh. Adrianna said getting to this point was challenging but she persevered with God’s help.
She expressed her gratitude to her friends and colleagues for their countless advice, mock preparations, practice sessions, and essay reviews.
Adrianna said she is filled with anxiety and excitement for what lies ahead, and she is eager to see the personal and professional growth that results from her experience at the University of Edinburgh.
